Asbestos Survey & Remove Any Asbestos Materials Present
Boyton Manor is the only Grade 1 listed building in Wiltshire. In keeping with taste and fashions of the 17th Century, when the house was built, the interior is resplendent with superb examples of mahogany and walnut panelling.
This is a fine English Manor House with an interesting history. For a time, in the late 1800's, it was the residence of Queen Victoria's youngest son, Prince Leopold, Duke of Albany.
During the Second World War it was temporarily requisitioned for the American military as living quarters for army officers. Today, all work on the house is sanctioned and closely monitored by English Heritage.
Working with Smithgore, a major property developer retained by the Trustees of Boyton Manor, Solent Environmental was requested to complete an asbestos survey and remove any asbestos materials present.
Recent history had seen the addition of asbestos to certain areas of the house. This was before the dangers of asbestos were realised. Now, as part of an on-going care and conservation programme, Boyton Manor is once again free of asbestos.
